We’re glad to hear it. Top-O-Map offers three options: free integration without registration, a usage quota with a subscription, and downloading the map as a one-time purchase.

Option 1
Free integration
We don’t need any information from you for this. You don’t have to register, you don’t have to provide payment details, and it costs nothing. You integrate the maps with just a few lines of code.
What you need to display

Overlays
If you choose the free integration, we display overlays (watermarks).
If you have more than 30,000 map tile requests per month – for example because the maps are displayed very often, users zoom a lot or explore new areas, which loads new tiles every time – we show the overlay more often and use it to ask you to get in touch with us. We also throttle the loading speed.
Important
Free of charge
Using the maps remains free even if you go above 30,000 tiles a month – it is merely limited by throttling and more frequent overlays. You stay in full control of your costs. If you’d rather work without overlays, choose a usage quota.

Buying a usage quota
Want to integrate the maps without overlays, or is your usage higher than 30,000 map tiles per month? For this we offer the Small, Medium and Pro plans – monthly or yearly, from €3 a month (incl. VAT).

Important
There are no extra charges for you
You only pay for your subscription – even if your usage is ever higher than the quota you booked. In that case, we’ll let you know by email, offer you a higher plan and throttle the loading speed until the next month. There is no additional billing for extra tiles – you stay in full control of your costs. If you want to continue without throttling, simply switch to a higher plan.

I’d like to take out a subscription. How does it work?

Choose a plan
On the pricing page, click “Subscribe” under “Monthly” or “Yearly” for the plan you want.

Continue to Stripe
You will be redirected to Stripe. Stripe processes payments on our behalf – all payment details stay with Stripe.

Complete your subscription
You take out the paid subscription via Stripe.

We are notified
Stripe lets us know that you have taken out a subscription. You can find out which data is transmitted in our Privacy Policy.

API key by email
We send an API key to the email address you entered at Stripe and ask you to tell us the name of your website or app. We then link the API key to your project.

Integrate it – done
Add the API key to the tile URL in your integration code – and you have full access to our maps.

For your security
Why we need the name of your website or app
The API key can be read in the page source or in the browser’s requests every time the map loads. To prevent other websites from using the maps with your API key, we link it to your website. If you use the API key in an app, please tell us the name of the app. If you use the key to display our map in other websites or programs (e.g. QGIS or ArcGIS), you don’t need to name a website or app. But please don’t share your key with anyone else, as they could otherwise use up your quota.

Option 3 – One-time purchase
Download the map
Would you like to download the map or parts of it, for example for offline use or to store it yourself? For this we offer one-time usage quotas – independent of a subscription.

automating the purchase process.
A one-time purchase does not automatically renew as a subscription and does not need to be canceled. Access ends automatically once the quota has been used up or the agreed period of validity has expired.
